Who We Are

Olfactory Outlaws Inc. ("Olfactory Outlaws", "we", "us") operates this website and sells fragrance decants and bottles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you buy something, subscribe, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order details.

Payment information. We never see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. Your card details go directly to them.

Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, and referring site.

Information stored on your device. We store a cart identifier and a site access flag in your browser's local storage so your cart persists between visits. This is not used to track you across other websites.

How We Use It

• To process, fulfill, and ship your orders.
• To contact you about an order, including problems with it.
• To send marketing emails, but only if you signed up for them.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to run the business:

• Shopify, which powers our checkout, payments, and order management.
• Klaviyo, which stores our email list and sends our newsletters.
• Shipping carriers, so your order can physically reach you.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Email Marketing

If you subscribe, we store your email address in Klaviyo and may send you launch news, new arrivals, and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email us and we will remove you.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage for cart persistence and site functionality. Shopify sets cookies necessary for checkout and fraud prevention. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings, though doing so will empty your cart.

Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders and to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise any of these, email olfactoryoutlaws@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will always tell you when it last changed.
